What a fantastic couple. I feel like the luckiest photographer eva!
Catie & Wes live out near my favorite city, The Bean Town, which is my old stomping grounds. Well when I got a call from Catie back in August, I was so excited to hear from someone out in MA that’s planning a wedding right here in Saratoga. Not just in Saratoga either, but at the one place that I have dreamed about since moving this way back in 07′. The Hall of Springs. It’s like hitting the lotto for anyone in the wedding business. As an aspiring wedding photographer (primarily an E-Blog stalker), I was honored to know I was even being considered. Did I mention that the New York Players will be there. This is going to be a party that you just don’t want to miss!!!!
So I have to now share the story of how I met Catie & Wes.
Catie & Wes are a perfect mix of NY and MA. Catie from Upstate NY and Wes from MA. Well there’s this awesome coffee shop (Melville’s Mug) down in Albany that I would drop by every morning. Well that’s how I got to know Catie’s Aunt. Pauline – you truly make the best coffee and I’ll owe you forever from this one! So I left some business cards with Pauline and I became friends with this perfect barista (mainly for the free coffee and morning craic (slang term for laughs in Ireland)). Well here’s a preview of their Saratoga Spings engagement session and we’re still working on the plans for the Boston session. Enjoy!
